Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Someday ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our iOS application.

By using Someday, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Data We Collect

You don't create an account with an email address or password. Instead, an anonymous identity is created on our servers the first time you open the app. Because Someday's entire purpose is calling you in your own voice about your own life, that identity is attached to more than most apps would ever ask for:

• A short recording of your voice, used to create a synthetic clone of it
• A photo, if you choose to add one
• What you tell the app: your name, age range, goals, the obstacle you're working through, the person you're becoming, and any replies, letters or notes you write to your future self
• The calls Someday generates for you — the script, the audio, and how you responded to them

We also collect, automatically:

• Crash logs and diagnostics (via Apple)
• Device information, such as device model, iOS version and language settings
• Anonymized app usage data, to understand things like how long onboarding takes or where people get stuck

2. How We Use Your Data

We use this information to:

• Generate your calls — writing them in your own words and speaking them in your own cloned voice
• Personalize the app to what you've told it about your life
• Monitor performance and diagnose bugs or crashes
• Understand general product usage, so we know what's actually working
• Process and manage your subscription

Anonymized analytics data is never used for advertising and never sold to third parties.

3. Third-Party Services

We rely on the following third-party providers to operate the app:

• Apple App Store — for purchases and platform-level diagnostics
• Anthropic's Claude — to write what your future self says
• Inworld AI — to clone your voice and synthesize your calls
• OpenAI's Whisper — to transcribe your spoken replies
• RevenueCat — to manage subscriptions and payments
• PostHog — for product analytics and feature usage

These providers may process data according to their own privacy practices. No personally identifiable information is intentionally shared with them beyond what each needs to do its one job — Whisper never sees your voice sample, Inworld never sees your goals, and none of them see your subscription details.

4. AI-Generated Content & Voice Cloning

Someday uses artificial intelligence in two ways: to write what your future self says, based on what you've told the app about your own life, and to clone your voice so those words are spoken back to you in a synthetic version of it.

Your voice sample is used only to generate your own voice model. It is never used to train a model shared with other people, and it is never used to generate anyone else's voice.

5. Your Privacy Controls

Because Someday stores real, identifiable data about you — your voice, your photo, your goals, your call history — you have real controls over it, reachable at any time from Settings:

• Delete your voice model. Removes your cloned voice and your stored voice samples, without touching anything else.
• Delete your account. Permanently removes your profile, your voice model, your photo, your calls, and everything else tied to your identity — from our database and from every third-party provider we can reach on your behalf.

6. Children's Privacy

Someday is intended for users aged 17 and older, in line with our Terms of Service. We do not knowingly collect personal information — including a voice recording — from anyone under that age. If we become aware that we've done so unintentionally, we will delete it promptly.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected with a new "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes go into effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
